Less than 378,000 votes decided the 2022 governor’s race. An estimated 1.6 million New Yorkers in firearm-owning households did not vote. WHERE DOES BRUCE BLAKEMAN STAND ON THE SECOND AMENDMENT?
Under Governor Kathy Hochul, New York has expanded its firearm laws to be some of the most restrictive in the nation. Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman has outlined his approach to Second Amendment rights and New York's firearm laws, including actions he says he would pursue as governor. Among the positions he has outlined include reviewing New York laws and regulations for compliance with U.S. Supreme Court decisions and aligning state enforcement practices with constitutional requirements.
