**  Monday, Mar. 2th, 2026  ….. NYS Assemblyman Phil Palmesano will update us on the past, present, and future of the 2026 NYS Assembly.   The Good, Bad and Ugly whether its firearms legislation, energy or ICE detentions.  You won’t want to miss this.   Knowledge is power. 

** Monday, Mar. 16th, 2026 ….. Steuben County Sheriff James Allard will join us to give an update on the County’s state of affairs with ICE detention issues and local law enforcement.  Again, don’t miss it!.                                  

** Misc. Updates:…. The new Members Only Raffle (MOR) is a Ruger American rifle in 308 Winchester caliber... purchase two $ 5.00 tickets per meeting.

**Sunday. Sept. 20nd, 2026 …. Mark your calendars for one of the highlights of the coming year….the Steuben County SCOPE  Fall Raffle.  Pick up tickets (packets of 21) at any regular meeting from Don Dunbar.  We have had such success in years’ past that people now ask for these tickets. Folks don’t want to take the chance of missing the food, prizes and friends.  This major fundraising event helps 6 Youth Shooting teams, Boy Scouts Shooting, Armed Women of America and firearms lawsuits important to New Yorkers.

**Crucial Elections: …. The Steuben County SCOPE Board of Directors this month is excited to announce the start of a comprehensive, professional, corporate level project to tap into the non-voting gun owners in New York.  This project is blessed with the leadership of Steve Leonard, a corporate retiree with this very important expertise.
