NYS SCOPE President, John Elwood will update us on several of the dangerous legislative bills in the NYS Assembly and Senate; what SCOPE is doing right now; discussion of new Chapters and plans for the extremely important Governor’s race in only 7 months . You won’t want to miss this.  Knowledge is power.

** Saturday, Apr. 18th, 2026 ….. Annual Statewide SCOPE Members Meeting will be held  at the Montour Falls Moose Lodge #426, 2096 County Rd. 14, Montour Falls, NY 14865, member’s RSVP must be postmarked no later than Apr 6^th                             

** Misc. Updates:…. The new Members Only Raffle (MOR) is a Ruger American rifle in 308 Winchester caliber... purchase two $ 5.00 tickets per meeting.

**Sunday. Sept. 20nd, 2026 …. Mark your calendars for one of the highlights of the coming year….the Steuben County SCOPE  Fall Raffle.  Pick up tickets (packets of 21) at any regular meeting from Don Dunbar.  We have had such success in years’ past that people now ask for these tickets. Folks don’t want to take the chance of missing the food, prizes and friends.  This major fundraising event helps 6 Youth Shooting teams, Boy Scouts Shooting, Armed Women of America and firearms lawsuits important to New Yorkers.

**Crucial Elections: …. The Steuben County SCOPE Board of Directors this month is excited to announce the start of a comprehensive, professional, corporate level project to tap into the non-voting gun owners in New York.  This project is blessed with the leadership of Steve Leonard, a corporate retiree with this very important expertise.
